Default Canada for all seasons

Thought I would write a litte note on Canada as it's definately one of my favourite places to visit .

For skiing, mountain biking and general fun and frolicks, Whistler is a great place to head to . Famous for its skiing and mountain biking, the town caters for all season's (yes I do sound like a holiday brochure but it's very true!).

The sceneary really is spectacular and there are so many things that you can do during the day to keep you occupied if skiing or biking isn't for you. You can take the Gondola up to Whistler-Blackcomb where you can visit the famous Inukshuk Inuit Statue (great photo opportunity for your facebook profile photo ), Trek Cougar mountain (maybe go with someone who knows how to handle Cougars and Bears incase you encounter any :S) visit one of Whistler's many lakes (Lost lake is a good one to go to...number of pontoons to swim out too..), plus zip lining and other activities too. You will never get bored!

Regarding food there is soooo much choice! ( Too much choice in fact....maybe that swim at the Lost lake is not always a bad idea!). Alot of the restaurants are very similar but despite that the grub is good (y). One of my favourite restaurants to go to was the Monoglie Grill located right in the middle of all the action...great food and cocktails...sake margharita anyone?!

Anyhoo I hope I have given a little insight into holidaying in Whistler . I'm sure there is alot I haven't touched on....you'll just have to see for yourselves!
