Red face Menorca - how beautiful!

It was a few years ago that I went to Menorca, which was not very well known at the time. It was absolutely stunning - we managed to find many secluded beaches which we had to ourselves, which were far more appealing than the average tourist beach.

There was also a vibrant culture within the towns, and although the nightlife was quiet it was ideal for a quiet meal and a drink. During the day we used our hire car to get around the island and see many of the sights, including a convent located high up a hill.

Menorca is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday, and our self-catering apartment made it even more secluded. It has all the charm, sand and sea of many other islands, without the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene.
