If you like sailing, walking through rough nature, visiting quiet little villages you could consider a sail-charter along the coast of Norway. Last year I booked such a holliday onboard the two-mast sailship "Bør". This sailship is of the 'Baltic Trader Type' based on the lines of the famous designer "Colin Archer". The "Bør" is owned by a Dutch couple Hans and Diana. We started at Kristiansund and sailed in 9 days through fjords and in between rocky island to Bergen. The harbours in between were: Alesund, Fosnavag (after sailing 3 hours in 8bft), Silda, Selje (where we walked a few hours to a historic place), Haerland, Byrknes. Silda_sml.JPG Sailing at the end of September was sometimes cold, but there was plenty to do and to see. Food and drinks (except alcohol) were all-inclusive and breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by Diana were excelent. The price is 96,00 euro per day excluding transfers and personal expences.
